That doesn't matter. All you have to do is stroll along the waterfront and check out the current favorites, which you'll recognize by the blaring merengue and gyrating crowds.
There are two or three dance clubs nearby, none of them particularly memorable, which also change their stripes frequently. If you're a woman traveling alone or one of a group of women , expect a heavy dose of machismo if you patronize many of the waterfront bars.
